As a result of the introduction of REBT-2002, the main repercussion of which was the prohibition of using PVC cables in public areas, Cygsa entered a diversification stage in order to continue providing solutions to its customers, especially those who until then had been manufacturing PVC cables and who, abruptly, were faced with a change in the law that required them to use other materials.
Following more than 2 years of intense work and significant investment, Cygsa extended its product portfolio through the development and implementation of a new line of halogen-free, flame retardant compounds with low smoke emissions.
As of this moment, the company continues to focus on diversification and the development of these products.
